Before The Pool Fam existed, we were just a family in Ormond Beach paying a big franchise pool company to take care of our pool. You can probably guess where this is going. Week after week we'd come home to water that was barely swimmable — cloudy, unbalanced, sometimes flirting with green — while the invoices kept arriving on time. The service we were paying for was leaving our pool nearly unusable, and nobody at the other end of the phone seemed to think that was a problem.
So we fired them and learned to do it ourselves. Properly — the chemistry, the filtration, the weekly discipline Florida water actually demands. Our pool came back, and it stayed back. Then the neighbors noticed. Then friends started asking. Before long we were taking care of a handful of pools around the neighborhood every week, and doing it better than the companies people were paying — because these were our people, and we had to face them at the mailbox.
That's the whole origin story: The Pool Fam is the pool company we wished existed when we were the customer. How we operate
